You import people on Contacts → Add contacts from CSV or LinkedIn. LinkedIn methods stay locked until an Active sender exists. Sales Navigator stays locked until that sender has Sales Navigator ticked on Details.
Open Add contacts
Open Contacts.
Select Add contacts.
Choose CSV import, LinkedIn import, or Add manually.
People database is disabled and has no Coming soon badge. CRM shows Coming soon. Skip both. Add manually creates one contact by hand when you do not have a file or a LinkedIn search.
CSV or LinkedIn
CSV import uploads your file. LinkedIn import needs an Active sender. Locked LinkedIn cards say "Connect an active LinkedIn sender to unlock".
After you pick LinkedIn, the methods include Import my network, LinkedIn Search Import, Sales Navigator (Leads), LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Event (Attendees), and LinkedIn Post (Reactors). The full method list, including company methods, lives in LinkedIn import methods.
Sales Navigator (Leads) also needs Sales Navigator ticked on that sender's Details tab. Recruiter needs Recruiter ticked there.
After the import
Imported people land on Contacts. Put them on a person list so a campaign can enroll them. Company Enrich is a later click on Companies. It is not part of this import.
