After an Active sender exists, Contacts and Companies offer LinkedIn methods for people and firms. Each card states what it needs, and locked cards show the unlock line until that need is met.
Unlock the cards
CSV import does not need a sender. Every LinkedIn card does.
Connect a LinkedIn sender and wait until it is Active.
Open Contacts → Add contacts for people methods, or Companies → Add companies for company methods.
If a card says "Connect an active LinkedIn sender to unlock", finish connect first.
For Sales Navigator cards, tick Sales Navigator on that sender Details tab.
For Recruiter, tick Recruiter on Details. Those cards say "Connect a LinkedIn sender with Sales Navigator to unlock" or "Connect a LinkedIn sender with Recruiter to unlock".
Import my network uses any Active sender. LinkedIn Search Import, LinkedIn Event (Attendees), LinkedIn Post (Reactors), and LinkedIn company search also use any Active sender. Sales Navigator (Leads) and Sales Navigator (Accounts) need Sales Navigator. LinkedIn Recruiter needs Recruiter.
After you pick a method
Follow the card. Some methods use the sender session. Others ask for a LinkedIn URL that matches that method. Imported people land on Contacts. Imported firms land on Companies. Enrich is a later click, not part of import.
If a card stays locked after the sender is Active, open Import method is locked.
